The interior design process involves multiple elements that need to be coordinated and orchestrated to ensure the project is completed on time and budget. While each job is unique, Tatiana Wojtan Studio always follows a time-tested approach to managing a full scale interior design project.
tHE TWS EXPERIENCE
what to expect
Every project, big or small, begins with an interior design consultation in your home. During the meeting, we discuss the scope of your project, your goals, your likes and dislikes and how you intend to use the space(s). I want to understand what is working for you and what is not. In return, I offer my best design advice and ideas to fully equip you to move forward with your home improvement project, whether on your own, or with my help. Typically, during the 2-hour working session, I can help you make design decisions with regards to:
> determining best possible layout for your rooms
> selecting paint colours for your entire house
> choosing exterior paint colours
> suggesting window treatments
> providing suggestions on additional lighting
> making suggestions on furniture styles
> solving any other design dilemma.
Following the consultation, you receive a summary report with recommendations so that you can implement them on your own at your own pace, or you can hire me to implement them for you. This is time towards your project that will be compensated back to you upon signing a full design service agreement with TWS.
Your investment: $550/2-hour consultation meeting + summary report

This is an all-inclusive service where we take care of your project from start to finish. This includes project research, comprehensive concept development, concept presentation, interior specifications, trade consultations, project management and client meetings. The range of services offered as part of the TWS full design service includes:
> Custom kitchen & bathroom design
> Custom millwork and built-in design
> Finishes and materials selection
> Sourcing lighting & plumbing fixture
> Selection, purchasing of furnishings
> Acquisition of artwork and antiques
> Sourcing and purchasing of accessories
> Supervised installation of all furnishings

The moment you have been waiting for! After every detail is perfected, I welcome you to your new home!
10. Reveal
I coordinate the movers and handymen to place the furnishings, install window treatments and lighting fixtures, hang the artwork, and style the space with carefully selected accessories and personal details. TWS takes every effort to style the space for a complete, magazine-worthy look. Depending on the size of the project, the installation may take 1-4 days.
09. Installation
To take the headache out of your home design project and to make sure the project is progressing as planned, I make periodic site visits to your home to talk to trades, answer any questions and check on progress.
08. Site Visits
Once you approve the design concept and budget, I place the orders for all materials, such as custom cabinetry, furnishings and other elements of the project. I coordinate delivery to personally check for any incomplete or damaged goods upon arrival.
07. Ordering & Management
One of the most exciting and anticipated days! This is when I present you with a home design plan which will include floor plans, elevations, finishes, artwork, lighting fixtures, etc, plus the itemized budget to guide the process.
06. Concept Presentation
During this step, I execute the floor plan, elevations (as needed), select cabinetry, furnishings, fabrics, lighting fixtures, colour scheme, etc. Every single element of the project is priced out to develop an itemized budget.
05. Concept Planning
This step involves meeting with all relevant trades, as required, to discuss all key aspects of the project, taking detailed measurements and photos to help with the planning step.
04. Trade Day
Following the evaluation of your project scope and your needs, I present you with a formal proposal that includes an estimated number of hours required to complete your interior design or decorating project.
03. Proposal
This phase is critical as it helps me determine how best I can assist you moving forward. I want to understand how your family lives, what is working for you and what is not. What design style appeals to you most, what are your likes and dislikes.

It all begins when you complete my interior design questionnaire and provide me with project details, approximate budget and desired timeline. I will get back to you to set up a complimentary Discovery Call to discuss your project in more depth and book your home design consultation.
